Dinner With My Mom

I invited my Mom to come over our house today because I miss her so much, especially her granddaughter Chantal. Well, she actually promised to cook a nice dinner for us which she did. By her granddaughter's request, she did cook her the best "kusido" (fish soup) ever and she fried two fish as well. Zoe was able to finished two servings of rice and kusido and me, well, I had three., hmm, almost four servings. My hubby wasn't able to join us for dinner because he was quite busy studying how to format our computer. He asked helped from one of his good friend. Right now, as usual I'm blogging and checking out my friendster and facebook account while Zoe is waiting for her turn to use the computer to play her girly games. So that's it. I'll let my daughter play games and I'll watch TV now.

Lonely Sunday

My Sunday today is not that happy because we're not able to join the swimming for a lot of reasons. I rather stayed at home with my hubby and baby. Well, it's worth it, our family had a great bonding at our bedroom while watching TV and sharing different stories. Of course, I regret me and my daughter didn't join their swimming with her fellow classmates and teachers from Bicol University but it's okay, there's still next time.

Tomorrow will be another busy day. Me and my daughter will be left at home. Oh by the way, I don't have a work for the next two weeks, it's a really nice time to rest and bond with my daughter.

Zoe's Nusery Recognition Day

Today at 1:30 pm we will go Zoe's school for her nursery recognition day. Me and her dad as well as her yaya Gemma and Wowo will watch her go to the stage, received her award - Most Courteous and Most Diligent - and perform an intermission number. General Cleaning

I feel a lot better now, although my tonsils aches still. Anyway, I wake up as early as 6am today because I was given the task of my husband to clean our living room, general cleaning at that. I started at around 6:30 after having my coffee and ended up at around 10:30 am. Thank God my Mom arrived to visit me and then helped me through my cleaning. My daughter also helped us a bit by doing some little help like arranging her toys and stuffs like that. My hubby was the one in charge of cleaning the webs all over the ceiling, taking out the car from the garage, and fixing things that are need to be fixed.

After lunch, we went upstairs to the third floor to show my Mom our new house which will soon be finished. She was very excited about it and really happy for me. She loved the idea of staying with us at least once a week. After that, Zoe and her cousin Raen played computer games, as usual, fashion games, cooking games, painting games, and all sort of girly games. At around 4pm while watching TV, we had snacks - pancit canton, bread, and water - and then Zoe started playing with his playmates and cousin in our garage.

Unfortunately, my Mom already go home and we were left sad especially Zoe. And then my husband noticed that Zoe is having some fever due too tonsillitis to because she really did had too much candy today. Good thing she was feeling better before going to sleep.

Whew! I had a tiring but happy day. Tomorrow will be another busy day. I'll be back to work again.

I'm Still Sick

Yesterday morning, I was doing very okay that I kept on chatting with a friend, updating my blog and facebook account, as well as playing with my daughter. Not until after I took a bath right after lunch that I started to chill and my husband notice that I look very sick, and he touched my forehead and neck and told me you're sick, better not go to work and have some rest. And so I didn't get to work until today, but see I'm still able to blog about what's happening to me right now. I feel very bad, I don't get to eat properly, and I think it's all because of my tonsils. I bet I had too much sweet and cold drinks yesterday and the past days that's why it did swell so much. Bye now, I really need to take a rest.

On A Tight Budget

Right now, I'm budgeting my salary. Of course, I need to prioritize all the stuff needed at home like the necessary grocery items such as cooking oil, milk, sugar, Milo, Chantal's diaper, bread, cookies, and a lot more. Oh, before I forgot, I also need to buy new toothbrushes because I have learned that every three months, you need to replace your toothbrush, so I will buy one for myself, for my hubby, and for my daughter. Hmm, what else should I buy? I can think of anything else aside from shampoo, conditioner, my ponds facial wash and facial lotion, toothpaste. Market stuff like vegetables, fish, chicken, pork, and beef will be shouldered by my hubby. So that's it, let's just see what else did I forget when I get to the grocery store.

I will take a bath now and wait for my officemate's text if the salary is already available.

Addicted To Facebook

Well, well, well I can attest that I'm really starting to get addicted with Facebook. Sorry, but I think it's far much better than Friendster only because of some of the features I prefer in Facebook than in Friendster. What I like best in Facebook is that I can post things like what I'm doing at the moment, creating comments on friends, update on friends which are visible as I open my Facebook account, as well as uploading wall photos, and many others. Everyday or anytime I have enough time to get online, the first site that I really go into is Facebook, next would be Friendster and the other sites I regularly go into.

Anyway, I still always update my Friendster account because not all of my friends there have an account in Facebook.

Summer Class For Zoe

Just last week right after my work, I went straight to Teatro De Artes, Center for the Performing Arts. It is where me and my hubby decided to enroll our 4-year old daughter for a summer workshop. We'll enroll her specifically in Ballet class which she actually been wanting since last summer.

As expected the overall tuition fee is expensive. It cost Php 5,200 for the whole month class which is during Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting March 23 to May 23. The package already includes the whole set of ballet costume. And since she's just 4 years old, she belong to the kinder age and her schedule will be from 9 to 10 am.

Well, my daughter is super excited about it as well as me and my hubby because we really like her to be enrolled in a ballet class and now it will come true. Very soon, I'll have a little ballerina.

By next week, I'm going to enroll her already because there are actually limited slots offered and I won't forgive myself if she'll not get one.

Sleep Over

Me and my daughter are here at my father's house where we're going to have a sleep over just for a night because my Dad misses me so much especially his apo. Well, two of his apo are here at his place and I can see how happy he is. You know, my Dad is not getting any younger. I miss all the time we've been together but that was so many years ago. Now, we just get to bond very often because I'm busy with my work and he's always in Daet. You know, there are lots of things that hinders us from seeing each other and talking things over. Well, probably now is the time for us to get along once again and I really did promise to myself that I'm gonna visit him as often as possible when I'm not busy. Tomorrow, we're going to leave already because I still have a work by Monday and I need to review Zoe for her final exams on Tuesday and Thursay.

Holodomor Truth

Do you know anything about holodomor? Well, here are some important facts to help you know what is it all about. In the year 1932 to 1933 a Soviet famine happened when the Communist governments of the Soviet Republics started seizing grains from the peasantry and then exported most the Republic's agricultural products to the West to be able to sustain the rapid economic transformation, particularly Industrialization and Collectivization which is a policy designed by Joseph Stalin. The specific areas affected during such famine in Soviet include Northern Caucasus, Volga Region, South Urals, West Siberia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. All of these areas are major grain producing agricultural regions of the Soviet Union. Now, a politician named Viktor Yuschenko have argued lately that such famine may have been possibly designed to serve as an attack on Ukraine and so should fall under the legal definition of genocide. Unfortunately, Ukranian nationalist did not get any support from among the EU members in their attempt to manipulate the historical facts so that Europe will recognize the Goldomor as genocidal famine. Additionally, Viktor Yuschenko tried to alleviate some of the social tensions of such famine in order to keep his electorate. And so this is the reason why he then decided to unite the nation of Ukraine against Soviet Union and Russia. Moreover, Viktor Yuschenko was the one who transformed the term "Golodomor" to "Holodomor" making it sound like "Holocaust" and then claiming it as a genocide to the whole world.

No Overtime Work

Thank God we are not required to work for extra hours today since there's not enough files in store for us so after the regular 8 hours of work, we were able to go home right away. Well, I won't be able to take some nap I think because I'm blogging as usual and there's just a lot of things that I need to finish regarding the other blog which I need to keep updated at least everyday. I take this opportunity to finish everything I need to in regards to my blogs because who knows tomorrow there are lots of work waiting for me in the office which of course I need to prioritize before anything else. Yahoo! No Overtime Today

Thank God we have no overtime today. We are not required to stay and work for four hours (extra time) because all the things we need to finished were finished already. Our managers were very happy that we're able to transmit all the files that we need to. One of my managers even promised to treat us one of these days. Maybe just a simple get together at our office canteen. Cookies and Cream ice cream will do. Hehe.

So since I'm able to go home early today, I can take long hours of rest and more time with my hubby and daughter. But well, right at these moment I'm blogging, my hubby and my daughter is out with my father-in-law because they have something to buy. After blogging, I will surely take a rest, I'll probably take a nap while my hubby and daughter is away and when they arrived, I'm going to play with my daughter.

Lots Of Things To Do

For the next two weeks, my work schedule is from 6am until 6pm. Yes, that is 12 hours of work a day because we're required to extend for 4 hours since there's a lot of things that we need to finish in our specific project. There's somehow a pressure on our part especially me and my other co-editors because we need to have a passing grade on all the things that we edit as well as those rework ones. Of course, our managers trust us with that, but of course no one's perfect. And in our specific project, it's really impossible to attain a 100% grade on every work we do. We'll just try our very best so we'll always get a passing grade for the sake of our project.

So we really need to double time. That's what one of the things our manager told and remind us everyday!

Can't Work On Sundays

Today is Sunday and we are supposed to go to the office and work. It's actually an overtime work and we'll be paid 150% of our salary for a day. That's about, hmm no need to compute anyway. But since it's Sunday and it's rest day I will really take some rest today and not go to the office. I'll just at home with my hubby and daughter. Our overtime work is optional so that means it's up t us if we would like to go to the office and work or not, and I choose not to.

I'm gonna take some nap right now. Ciao!
